Chunky Monkey is het ideale garen voor Colour Crafter-fans die willen variëren met textuur en draaddikte. 
De dikke Aran weight draad (pendikte 5.0 mm) van 100% Premium Acryl is lichtgewicht, hypoallergeen, onderhoudsvriendelijk en beschikbaar in hetzelfde ruime kleurenpalet als het populaire Colour Crafter.( 93 kleuren)
Bovendien is het grote voordeel dat Chunky Monkey een Anti Pilling garen is. 
Door gebruik van handgemaakte items, of het nu een kledingstuk of knuffel is, kunnen er kleine bolletjes van vezels op het oppervlak ontstaan.
Dit verschijnsel heet Pilling. Scheepjes Chunky Monkey heeft een speciale behandeling ondergaan waardoor de kans hierop minimaal is
